Aristotelis, a multifaceted director of Greek-Ukrainian descent, was raised amidst the vibrant cultural tapestry of Athens, Greece. After growing up, he ventured to the UK to pursue his passion for film, studying cinematic artistry at Oxford Brookes University. With a keen eye and a distinct cinematic sense, Aristotelis has developed a diverse skill set, excelling particularly as a director. Notably, he has showcased his directorial talent with three compelling short films, one of which was recognized as a finalist at the esteemed Student World Impact Film Festival, the largest student platform worldwide. His latest film, "Listen," was celebrated at the annual film festival at Oxford Brookes, winning awards for Best Film, Best Directing, Best Cinematography, and Best Sound Design.
In addition to his directorial achievements, Aristotelis has lent his expertise as a camera assistant to commercial video productions for renowned companies such as BMW, Williams F1, and Mini UK. He has also made significant contributions as a script supervisor in the indie UK scene. As of 2024, Aristotelis is based in Athens, continuing to expand his creative horizons.
At the same time, Aristotelis is also the co-host of "Agora: The Film Podcast" where they analyze a new film in each episode, delving into both its artistic elements and its underlying messages and themes.
